This season has, of course, developed under unusual circumstances. The feeling of hope pervades, however, and we always look to fashion for a way to bring beauty to our everyday lives. For me, this season brought a desire for joyful, exuberant color, handcrafted details, and clothes that feel special, but are also adaptive to our changing lives. The collection draws on Americana themes, with Western style blazers, sports details, and upcycled textiles with beautiful hand embroidery. We don’t know where we will be in six months, but I hope to offer pieces that feel right for a long overdue dinner with friends, or simply a drink enjoyed on a rooftop.
It is more important than ever for a company to act on its values and drive change – with this in mind, we are building charitable giving into our business as an ongoing priority. Thus, a portion of this season’s sales will be given to the Food Bank for New York City and the Equal Justice Initiative.
